Matcha, White Chocolate & Toasted Hazelnut Muffins, originally uploaded by jaxies.
You see those beautiful little muffins right there? Take it in. Take it all in. Imagine those melting in your mouth (because melt they certainly do). Now hear this: I’m not giving you this recipe.
“WHAT?! HOW CAN YOU TEMPT US LIKE THIS, JACKIE?!” I hear you cry (…in my head I hear this. In reality you’re probably thinking, ‘meh. Big freakin’ deal’). Well that’s because I’m holding back on this gem for the cookbook.
Yeah, I’ve mentioned it a couple of times before, but I’m co-writing a cookbook with my grandmother and aunt. There’s a potential publisher and we’ve got instructions to come up with about twelve recipes each, so right now I’m currently in what I like to call “recipe darevelopment”. Boom.
These muffins are probably going to be one of my recipes and I’ve got it pretty much perfect. I need to test them a couple more times to make sure that I’ve got it completely smacked down (I can practically bake these in my sleep, at this point) but they are lovely and light and melt in your mouth, and the flavours are pretty immense.
I shall tell you this and no more: they contain matcha green tea, white chocolate and toasted hazelnuts.
So now you can gaze upon the photo and wait for the cookbook to bake these little beauties. I may even give away a couple of signed copies… ha! Watch this space! Exciting, eh? Until next time, peace and love.
