Take It Off, Take It All Off

Remember how I said that I was involved in two projects to raise money for Japan? Well the other project is somewhat more risque. Or maybe it’s just perfectly in character? Wink wink, nudge nudge.

The entirely fabulous Linda from Salty Seattle decided to organise her own little project, namely a nude cookbook and calendar, featuring bloggers in the buff with some of our fabulous recipes, the proceeds of which would be donated to a charity of our choosing to aid Japan (to be confirmed). When she emailed me tentatively to ask if I was interested in participating, of course my response was a resounding yes.

Photography by David Mason Photography.

Along with seventeen other bloggers and a fabulous designer on board, we’ve been working hard over the past few weeks with independent photographers to produce fantastic shots, sending emails back and forth, discussing titles and other items of business, and the other week I shed my clothes for a photoshoot with the wonderful David in my home studio (above shot one of the clothed ones!). He did an incredible job and I can promise you that the final photo is, well, pure sex. And food… so maybe sexy food.

The website is now live and will feature information and behind-the-scenes photos/bonus material from the participating Nudie Foodies over the next few weeks until the book/calendar drops. To kick things off, first up today is Greg from Sippity Sup, featuring a rather wonderful video made in sunny Costa Rica… be sure to check it out!

My own feature will be going up very soon, so I’ll let you know when it’s live, but in the meantime, check out the Nudie Foodies website, follow the Nudie Foodies Twitter for all the latest news, grab a supporter badge for your website or blog, and be prepared to get very rude with food…

Until a very naked next time, peace and love.

Hi, Jax. I think a parsley mirkin would be especially appropriate for posing out of respect to Japanese culture (not that I’m trying to be oblique here…).

Your last post was heartfelt (not to mention an almost-Jewish chopped chicken liver dish) and then this one – one never knows what to expect here. You just keep us guessin’, I guess. Is blogging variety the spice of life???

    Thanks,

    Dan
